    Default Searching on Navi-X

Is there an easy way to search for specific movies on Navi-x instead of scrolling down each page. I am new to Boxee Box and still verymuch a newbie.

There are two ways to search Navi-X for movies.

    1. From Navi-X home menu, go to Search > Search navi-xtreme.
This searches user submitted entries in Navi-X.

    2. From Navi-X home menu, you can go to either of the following places and search content providers individually:

Navi-X home menu > Navi-X Networks > Movies > Any section, Searches will be located at the top of a section.

Navi-X home menu > Site Scrapers > Any section or provider that you know streams movies, Searches will be located at the top of a section.

Two best places I find are "site scrapers" then down to VeeHD, or go to "search" then Videofriender. Best quality ones there.

Is there anyway to download shows or films on the navi app to the boxee box instead of streaming. I am on a wireless network and anytime I try to watch something it buffers every minute or so.

    Thanks in advance.

The Navi-X Remix supports a download feature but the Navi-X Remix version is unsupported. Add Remix then add a flash drive, go to settings in Remix and point to the flash drive for download folder then when you click an item, it will show download as an option. Try to download and it should be on the flash drive after. Only 1 download at a time and I'm not 100% sure it will work but try it and maybe you'll get lucky. I will give details again later about Remix details and status for support with Remix. Thanks.

P.S. The Remix is in the same repo as Navi-X 1.45

    Default Project Proposal

    Hey Folks,

I just wanted to let folks know, in my spare time that I have been working on Navi-X, I have been thinking about how to end piracy on the internet and I think I have a really cool idea people will dig big time.

I am just looking for people who are strictly interested in helping to help me design and add considerations to this project idea I have and I was hoping to get some smart people involved in an idea that I plan on proposing first to Google, then others.

I genuinely feel I have the answer and I think it's possible to make happen truly. If you feel like you really have important feedback to contribute to this project, please let me know. The idea is to subsidize licensing costs using smart marketing and data mining with informantics... that's all I'll say for now.

If you feel you have the technological competence to contribute to a project like this... please only apply if you have extensive experience in the IPTV industry because I'm very serious about this.

I am currently writing the full proposal, but would like some input before I finalize my proposal for shopping to major computing companies. I would also like to run a full video conference on spreecast before completing my proposal.

Thanks to all those interested in helping me end piracy on the internet while supporting an "all-available-on-the-internet" policy... I think it's time we get serious on an answer that will make everyone happy! Thanks!!

I have been thinking for a while now of trying to develop a way for people to get all sorts of content for free AND artists and producers still get paid, by subsidizing licensing costs using complex advertising campaigns and data mining, mixed with informantics to quantify media metrics from viewers.

Everyone gets everything they want for free and in turn, the costs are subsidized completely. I even have a way of taking advantage of pirating servers so that content publishers can re-coup money from their copyrighted materials...

It's a complex proposal but I'm still working on it. When it's complete, I'll let everyone read all the juicy details!
