I think my boxee box has fallen into a timewarp into the future where everything on my box has just started working flawlessly and with very little buffering at the beginning when I watch anything on IceFilms now. Granted not everything plays, 95% of the stuff I have been trying to watch from them works without issue.

I just hope it doesn't stop doing whatever it is that it's doing because I'm not even wanting to do a firmware update at this point JUST BECAUSE it's working and alot of people seem unable to get it to work. Lucky me!

I wish I had more time to look into this but I could definitely post a YouTube video of it working just fine for me if I still have skeptics. Maybe try factory restoring your boxee box's and then a manual update from USB will do the trick. It hasn't worked for others for some reason but hey... maybe some of you will get lucky as I have until I get a chance to look at why this is this week. Sorry folks!

It's intermittent and, IMO, nothign to do with Navi-X
FWIW my experience was pretty bad when the Boseman stuff first came back online (I noticed this Sunday 11th PM UK time). Yesterday, however, it was much better. More links were working which hadn't worked before.
Hopefully my experience yesterday wasn't a fluke or one-off & others will start to see the same thing.

Thanks again Bill/Boseman/everyone for all of your efforts.

    Default News!

    > "News from Icefilms site they are starting to use 180Upload and SpeedyShare as hosts soon and will be stopping rapid share soon.
SpeedyShare is on the real-bedrid list but I can't see 180Upload."

    * IceFilms > http://www.xbmchub.com/oldforums/vie...hp?f=15&t=1034

so also one of my friends told me that he could use IceFilms on Navi-x/Boxee yesterday ?!?

I experienced the same thing when I noticed Navi content back up on Saturday night. Everything was flawless. That is not the case anymore. Buffering is back but perhaps not as bad as before and I have not been booted out of a video yet which seemed to happen quite a bit previously.

    Default Navi x playback error

Frankly, after reading posts in the forum I sense a lot of sheeple are trying to convince themselves that Naxi X is "flawless" and "amazing". Unfortunately, I continue to receive playback error issues and the other half of the times, I am booted to the main screen in the middle of a movie.

Diagnosis: Navi X is a piece of shit. Yes, it's fancy but it BLOWS!

Solution:For the sheeple willing to try something new, try saving http://www.1channel.ch/ to the Boxee web browser favorites. I have and it works great. It will take getting used to when trying to access a movie but I assure you that it DOES work and does NOT give you the same issues as Naxi X.

    Enjoy!

Well that's just your opinion... 400,000 plus users seem to be able to get it right... not all of us are so lucky. I would ask you to troubleshoot but you seem to be Mr. Know It All... ha!

My 12 year old says sheeple. He says it with the same adolescent self-satisfaction you do. He's a better writer though.

Try copying down the link of the whatever you are trying to watch. Manually enter it into a brower (boxee, PC, whatever). More likely than not, the link is bad.
