Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

    I just tested the theory...
I launched the same video file from videofriender.
From the New Navi-X it says unstable and it took a at least 5 or 6 clicks for it to go. it kept erroring out. When it finally started; the 42 minute video lasted for 15 minutes before it died..

I then tested the same file on the Old Navi-X it started up right away and played the whole way through.

I tested this twice.. Same results..
I'm connected to a FIOS connection with 35Mbps down so I doubt my connection is the issue.

So again, I ask: Am I the only one?

    Default Problems Since Boxee Update

I first want to apologize if this has already been discussed, but I have gone back numerous pages and don't seem to see anyone else discussing this.

As is not uncommon, for me at least, since the last update I am having trouble with Navi-X on the Boxee. I find that when I try and start a movie, generally from Justme4u2c, it takes an abnormally long time and either freezes the system, requiring a hard reboot, or if the show does load it will frequently buffer.

I remember this problem three updates ago, and then the second to last update came out and all was good. But since this recent update I seem to be experiencing this issue all over again. I know this is a Boxee problem and not a Navi-X problem, but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing it and if there is a Jira bug to vote up, or if I am just crazy and this is a solo problem.

just search more to find the better links ... I use Navi-X on daily basis on boxee and xbmc , no issue .. but it takes you a while to know where to look and which file to choose for playing...

think about your boxee without Navi-X and then you will understand the real value of this great app...

I'll go ahead and repeat this as I often do many things many times...

Troubleshooting Guide for Buffering or Streaming Issues in Navi-X
    http://forums.boxee.tv/showpost.php?...&postcount=803

Please read through this carefully and it should clear up any misperceptions about exactly how Navi-X works and how to remedy most connectivity issues. This should answer your question to what the problem is once you go through the routine.

If you are trying to stream bootleg movies that just came out a couple of weeks ago and that's all your trying to stream, I have very little sympathy for you and your buffering.

I have had my boxee for close to a year, and Navi-X is the best and almost only app I use. I do use it for local network videos, but Navi-X is invaluable.

I also understand how Navi-X works, and am not at all complaining about it. Yall are GREAT. But I felt like sharing my situation in case anyone else had a similar experience. I can run Navi-X, 3.4?, on XBMC on my laptop and have no issues whatsoever, and that is why I brought it up. If I experienced the same issues on my laptop I would assume it is the source and not even mention it.

To sum up, not complaining at all about Navi-X, just sharing.

    P.S.

I'm watching old episodes of Alias right now.

You made very fair and valid points and for that I'm greatful. Sorry if I came off like I was mad, that wasn't really my intentions but a smiley never really tells you enough to change how words sound coming out. Everyone else feel free to speak your mind... I don't expect Navi-X will be the end all of peoples streaming... Just the movie folks in particular have been getting to me. Its not like I really care about how well some bootleg movie runs for folks and I know not everyone uses navi-x for just movies. Thanks for sharing you thoughts again!

Honestly I love Navi-x, it's a life saver to be honest and it's what's kept my interest in the bbox I purchased a while back. I often find myself having gripes with something either interface related or buffering related and I have to stop and realize that you guys are offering this FOC (free of charge) and that we should all be grateful! However I do feel that we owe it to you to offer you our "field reports" so to speak so that it can help you work out any kinks. I'm still getting used to the new interface, I am loving and hating it at the same time!

I've had similar issues too. I was looking for episodes of big bang theory that were all from one source, they all would simply stop (after going through buffer hell) or not start at all. Then I went to another episode that was from another source and it worked like a charm, go figure!
