I believe if you look in my signature you will see that I am using Version: 1.0.4.17443. Is that considered new version or or it just the 1.1.2 you are talking about?

I don't know what to say brother... sounds like you are not having issues with firmware at all then but your internet connection / connectivity.
I am talking about anything passed .17443, but if you are having buffering issues in .17443, it's not the firmware that is your problem but something with your internet connection.
If you want to troubleshoot, e-mail me at xiRoNBiLLx@gmail.com if you want to try and work through the buffering issues. Remember... not all videos will play without buffering but normally, once the video gets going there is no additional buffering after like 5 minutes. Otherwise, time for you and I to troubleshoot!

And I responded via e-mail... I think you are wanting to know way too much about how, what, when, where and why about how the boxee box behaves, but I can understand why.
I would say maybe you need to pick the mind of a Boxee developer for a bit... perhaps Lilo can give you some quality feedback on getting these types of answers... I don't intend on always explaining how something works... I'm more interested in just getting it to work!Lilo could probably explain the "network" side of things for Boxee better than I. Don't forget to check your e-mail!

You are probably correct about my thirst for knowledge. I am self taught, and have more than my share of painful experiences. These two smileys probably say it best.![]()

Hey ironbill
I remember you saying you finally got ahold of that one guy who you were threatening to put his phone number up on the web a few pages ago on this thread. And I feel like a nuisance asking this, but did you ever hear anything about the status of that android app? I can think of nothing more valuable then Navi on my Android Tablet!
Cheers keep up the good work

Great questions folks. Life has been jam packed with probate lawyers and house work and I can't seem to get caught up lately. I spoke with him finally about 3 weeks ago and he said he would get back at me once he tested it out again and made sure it's ready for release. I will try to call him this weekend for sure and get something more concrete out of him. If someone would give me a reminder like you have here to call Broken on Friday or Saturday, I will remember for sure. Thanks.

A few pages back I posted about my favorites disappearing after exiting the Navi app. I did not seem to get a definitive answer concerning this issue. Is there any way to fix this at the moment or is this an issue with Boxee that needs to be sorted out.
Would really be nice to have favorites set up.
Also just had a quick question regarding files with mms in the web address. It was suggested that the mms be changed to http but I'm not sure how this is to be done. If anyone could explain how that works it would be much appreciated.
