http://code.google.com/p/navi-x/issu... Owner Summary
The Navi-X Media Browser is a "content aggregator" that provides access to all kinds of multimedia content, listed on a public directory of user contributed listings or playlists for playing on your TV or PC! Users can link to content and playback video, audio, pictures, podcasts, text, rss and html on the internet and share it with people around the world in seconds! Create fully customizable playlists with backgrounds, logos and icons as well as link to your favorite multimedia on the internet or browse the already existing directory of publicly available content, in one sleek, fast and unified application! Navi-X is a multi-platform addon for XBMC and Boxee, popular and free media center applications available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Apple TV and the original Xbox (modified). We also are always looking to put a flavor of Navi-X on any platform we possibly can. Check out Navi-X and see what you have been missing!

Works great for me !!
The remote is not as functional in Boxee as XBMC so some options don't seem to be available , such as download .
But watching shows works great , thanks

Well now that the cat is out of the bag and I'm home from work, let me tell you all what Navi-X is since nobody seems to know...
Navi-X is a "media browser" for finding content on the internet!! What kind of content do you ask???
Movies, TV Shows, Music, RSS Podcasts, Live Streams, News, Sports, whatever... We stream links from many, many, many sources that Boxee has not traditionally offered until now!
We have 85 processors, which means you can link to content on over 85 websites and play it back via Boxee on your TV!!
Videofriender, MovShare, and MegaVideo are some of our more popular processors, allowing you to playback any movie from these websites in your Boxee instantly. Want to catch up on the classics or miss something you haven't seen yet??? Now is a better time than ever!
We also have website scrapers that scrape whole video directories from websites and organize them into playlists for browsing. I personally like Crackle movies, Fancast and Adult Swim and anytime a website updates its content, it's instantly viewable in Navi-X.
For now, Downloading is not enabled but it may be some time in the near future... obviously the most popular feature hands down in Navi-X usually.
Realize we are originally based in XBMC, so you will also see content for XBMC available... disregard it as it will not help make Boxee better via plugins, etc.
This is a good start for now... cool thing is, lets say I watch Iron Man 2 and like it... I can click Share, then anyone viewing my favorites list can instantly playback the items from the home menu. Also, the links that save in the boxee site... they can be copied and pasted to others so they too can download WITHOUT even needing Boxee or Navi-X!! Technically, if you didn't wanna wait for us to implement downloading, you can do this now by logging into your boxee account at boxee.tv and view your activity, then click on your shared favorite to download it!!
Check out Navi-X yourself, cause we didn't spend every working minute trying to make this happen for you boxee users for nothing... this is what you have been waiting for... check out Navi-X on Boxee today!!!

P.S. Props to my buddy Frank for making this work!

This is Awesome! I'm still trying to get used to the navigation. I keep hitting the menu button and it backs me completely out of the app. Gotta remember to not hit that button.
Also, wondering if it would be possible to scrape videos from livewellhd.com? I have to leave boxee and go to clicker.com to watch these videos. Would love to be able to watch them within boxee.

Okay...
First of all, I would like to thank "darcilicious" for closing my other thread, as I couldn't think of any other way to abandon it and transition to this new thread without telling people to stop using the thread... so even though some would be upset with a closed thread, I'm for a change quite thankful for this.
I will try to add links to tutorials or something as soon as possible. As it is we haven't updated the manual for over a year and we've had soooo many changes, it's crazy.
As for basic navigation... realize what you are browsing in Navi-X is basically a bunch of playlists linked to each other internally, with other links to playlists containing links to other playlists and multimedia content... genius concept when you think about it.
As for browsing content in general... you go through playlists proceeding with "browsing", but if you want to go back a playlist, click the grey/white arrow that looks like this... < and click on it, or press left until it turns white to highlight it, then press enter. Maybe eventually, we will get "Backspace=Go Back A Playlist"... I'm not a dev, but from what I hear, most of Navi-X 3.2 for XBMC features will be implemented in the near future.
Get back to you all soon with video tutorials to make it simpler to understand.
As for requesting website scrapers, yes we take requests here...
http://navix.turner3d.net/forums/?ac...pic_view&id=76
**Note: You have to create a free playlist hosting account on http://navix.turner3d.net before you can add a request.
**Also, I already requested this for you on our website, so whenever you get around to making a free playlist hosting account, you can add more requests on the forums at the link above, as well as add links to movies, shows, podcasts and music. Your site looks like an easy request from my experiences.

I have the same problem. Keep hitting ESC key and that accidentally terminates the Navi-X app. I also see that some Navi-X features (like Plug-Ins and HTML) don't work yet.
Otherwise, what can i say? This is quite an App!
It's going to take me awhile to wade through all of the content here. A fine addition to Boxee!
Thanks to the Navi-X team for making the Boxee experience even richer.

I'll have to check this boxee version out and see what it's all about. Looks interesting.
I remember using Navi-x on XBMC (soft mod) and most of the sources never worked or were invalid. Or I just could never figure it out...
Update:
Wow, you're killin' me with this! There's a ton of cool stuff on this now! I could spend hours soaking this all up...'
The menus are pretty deep, so I had a hard time finding things again later (navix search is your friend). Shows don't show in your Boxee History, but like ironbill said, if you luv or like them with boxee they show up in you Boxee.tv activity and you can download them if you so desire. But the streams were great, so why bother wit DL'ing...
Very cool. App works nicely. Everything I tried played. Nice work.

Just worked for me. You paste the link in your Boxee Repository to download the app with boxee...not a browser.
