Can't auto recognize or manuel recognize

I have problems getting Boxee to recognize my movies.
my ISO files have the correct names. but Boxee can not recognize them.
when I try mannuel recognize, I get this message "no results found"
is anyone have a solution to my problem.

I love the Boxee UI so it would be perfect if I could get it to work.
and buy a box Boxee later.

What's the title of the movie? Boxee just may not have it in its licensed version of the IMDB... in which case you'll need to report it via http://support.boxee.tv/entries/9001...tly-recognized

You know you can also change the title in the manual box and not leave as the file name. Then hit the search button. Make sure what IMDB has set as the correct name and year too.

What's the name of the movie? How many movies are not being recognized ?

I have ISO's and they seem to resolve fine. I.E. Duplicity - 2009.ISO or 9 - 2009.ISO

On my old computer could not find any movies. and it was titles like - Iron man - Super man returns - 300 - Troy.

now that I have given it another go. I rip two movies Babel and minority report, two normal movies I would think could be found at IMDB.

Do not know if it could be connection problem, or whether to have a special port open in my firewall

No, not what I mean exactly, though, that makes me think you're not doing something correctly or something.

The movies you mentioned I have as ISO and they were found normally without manually resolving.

How are you nameing your files? Per my suggestion?
Minority Report -year.ISO
Superman Returns - year.ISO
300 - year.ISO
Ironman - year.ISO

(substitute year for the actual number: 2007 or 2008 or 2009 or whatever)

Are these movies showing up in the Unresolved area. Are any of them being resolved at all?????/

If it were a port connection, you'd not be able to get anything to work in Boxee: Hulu, indexing of anything etc.

I only have two movies now, Babel and Minority Report. Boxee can not recognize any of them

Babel = Babel.2006.iso
Minority report = Minority.Report.2002.iso

Both films are in Unresolved area

Ok, good.

Now, can you get any of the TV Shows or Apps to play that are available for your country?

Are all the thumbs showing correctly for the apps and TV Shows?

If not, you may need to get your boxee log from your userdata folder and post it here so we can see what's blocked.
