Thread: Instant watch of movie trailers!

  1. #1

Default Instant watch of movie trailers!

An option to instantly play the movie trailer (by an option in its context menu) - as it was in the early alpha versions - veryyyy useful.

Boxee used apple trailers for this feature, but remove it because apple would change URL's, and cause general chaos....

Apple is not the only supplier of movie trailers.. what about traileraddict.com ?

Please partner with another site...I really miss the trailers Honestly it is an amazing feature, and it really set boxee apart from other media apps... I don't know much about this, but at the very least couldn't we use YouTube or something to find the URL's? And I heard Traileraddict.com is great too!

this is a great idea I liked it when you could watch trailer on boxee before. You could use site like Traileraddict- http://www.traileraddict.com/, yahoo movies - http://movies.yahoo.com/trailers/ & Apple Trailers http://trailers.apple.com/

The new NaviX app has movie trailers and in HD, SD versions and plays very well. Great app overall.

Having the trailers integrated within the movie context menu/popup is much better than having to launcher another app and then locate the appropriate trailer.

I agree with this that this is the way it should be done but there should also be a app to watch movie trailer because some movie wont be out yet and how are you going to watch there movie trailer

I don't know if anyone else would want this feature. But, it would be great if Boxee automatically starting playing random trailers, instead of the Boxee screen saver, when Boxee is idle. I guess I'd like to see Boxee be similar to TV, in that, if you let Boxee sit without input, it will keep playing content. Maybe have a choice for the user to play random trailers or local content or internet content ect... Good idea? Maybe I'm the only one looking for something like that.
