    Unhappy Unstable

Why is Boxee so unstable? Sometimes it finds my laptop, but most times it does not. XBMC nearly always finds it, but can do nothing with it (what use is XBMC anyway?).

When I go in to videos it never finds any, even though I have labelled them correctly.

Boxee is on my Apple TV and I am using an ASUS F5VL laptop operating Vista.

It is getting very frustrating, when Boxee works it is a useful streamer add-on to atv. At worst it a useless piece of software that can only be removed by resuming factory settings on atv and re-installing everything else which takes hours.

Does anyone have any solutions to make Boxee work correctly all the time.

I hear ya -- sometimes boxee has issues... But keep in mind that Boxee's not designed to be installed on ATV.

It's only because some of our awesome community members (who've since become moderators) who helped users install in on ATV.

If it's unstable, it's a consequence of the fact that 1) the developers haven't supported ATV in their coding, 2) Boxee's still in beta, and has ups-and-downs, and 3) ATV's hardware is not optimized to run the program.
