Hi guys, like many others I'm working towards the dream of having a mythtv backend, administered by mythweb and a boxee frontent. To achieve this I've tried adding mythtv as a upnp source but it keeps listing the source as not connected. No idea why but I've given up on that approach for now.
I installed djmount and mounted upnp in my /mnt/upnp/ folder. Since the upnp source names contained colons and sources I linked the mythtv All Recordings directory to /mnt/mythtv/. This directory how contains a list of correctly named media files.
I added this source to boxee and it "sticks" (i.e. does not ever say not connected) however from the logs it's obvious that when boxee scans the files it fails. Here is a log sample:
There are about 400+ files in the folder (shows and movies) but if anyone wants the full log I'll upload it.19:18:53 T:2859420528 M:2433736704 ERROR: CMetadataResolverVideo::ResolveVideo, could not resolve video by folder name, path = /mnt/mythtv/ (videoresolver) (resolver)

From what I can gather boxee is sending a request to its media database to try and find a match for the specific item. I've tried going to the url but it fails. With some fiddling sometimes it will work although not necessarily giving content for the correct episode. I've also noticed that for shows it will query the movies url rather than the shows one.
Does anyone have any idea why this media is failing? I haven't left it for long enough to process the entire media library but it's gone through a good cross section of content types (different shows and movies) so I figured it any was going to work SOMETHING would have worked by now.
I get the feeling this issue is related to mythtvs media naming conventions. If this is the case does anyone know how to alter the method mythtv uses to name content presented via upnp?
