Boxee remote for Ipod from Itunes Store

I am new to the forum and have a big problem. I tried to download and install Boxee remote for Ipod/Iphone. The install open Itunes and the Itunes store and then it then hangs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes, turn on and off firewalls and virus protection. I still now can not get to the Itunes store. I have a first gen Touch with the latest software. Help!!!

Thanks I have been out to the Apple forums as well. I am running Windows XP sp 3. The problem began when I tried to get the Boxee Itunes app.

I can't imagine that there's anything specific to the Boxee remote app that would cause your problems with the iTunes store. There's something else going on unfortunately.
