too bad i couldn't watch it in boxee...
personal: boxee | twitter | boxee hq
boxee: boxee chat | boxee wiki | boxee plugins

i run boxee 0.9.20 on: ubuntu 9.10, windows xp sp3 (virtual machine), windows 7 and a neuros link hacked to all hell.

what super powers does a 'super mod' have? the 'super ban'... that, and laser vision.

lol I was thinking the same thing. Maybe boxee should make a boxee channel and put all this stuff there, under TV Shows or something.

Thanks for the video, I have followed both parts, however when I goto my network sources I get the error : Error 2 : Share not available ?

Cant work out why it is saying this ?

I also cant seem to get boxee to index any of the music or photos that is currently on my atv hardrive ?

    Thanks

    Mark.

    Default Same Network storage Problem

I have two network storage devices:

    (i) A FreeAgent drive connected thru USB port on Airport Extreme
(ii) A Buffalo Terastation 1TB NAS

I see both of these in Boxee.

However, when I go to the FreeAgent drive it gives me msg "No files found at source" .... and on Terastation I get "Error 2: Share not available". Both have multiple AVI files on them.

I am not sure if this is because I have not installed (eg NitoTV ?) to read AVI files, an NAS issue (for Terastation) or ???

    I'm still a bit confused...
I have an Airport Extreme as my WiFi point. On the network is a G5 (10.5.5) and a MacBook (10.5.5) along with my aTV (2.3 Boxee 0.9.5.4497 Patchstick 0.8).

I followed both videos. Everything was set the same. However, when I get back into Boxee > Video > Browse > Add Source > Network Source: Boxee couldn't see any networked computers last night. I confirmed that all Macs were on WORKGROUP.

This morning when I finally made it to the forum i get Error 2: share not available. I did not see this error yesterday.

Update: A reboot of all systems at once ended up solving the issue. Everything can see everything now.

How is this supposed to be easier than just watching videos with my computer?

By the time I set up all those files and figure out how to watch them in boxee, I'll be tired.and sleepy. too tired and too sleepy to watch family guy.

Especially when I can just go to HuLu.com and point and click.
