Ok I will try to explain this as clearly as possible. I've read the sticky thread about "creating the perfect Boxee database", which was a HUGE help. But I'm still having some issues.
I'll start by explaining my setup. I have an older PC running Windows 7 x32 that I use as my "Media Server". I have two folders on that system. One called "Movies" and one called "TV". Both are shared. This PC is used solely as a media server, it's only purpose is to store and share my media files.
Connected to my TV I have a tiny little Lenovo workstation that is also running Windows 7 x32. This system is connected directly to my TV and has no keyboard or mouse connected. I use a remote and an IR receiver to navigate Boxee.
So I went through all my media on the server and named my files, one by one, following the advice from the sticky thread I refrenced earlier. Here is how I named my files...
Top Gun (1986).avi
Iron Man (2008).avi
Etc... (I made sure to name the file exactly what it's named on IMDB)
Season1 (Sub Folder)
But Boxee still isn't organizing the files properly. I'll see random TV episodes listed in "My Movies" and It's not even pulling all my TV into the "TV" section. There are complete series missing. In "My Movies" I also have around 20 movies missing.
Any ideas on how I can solve this? Or something I should be doing differently?
