Boxee Repo rss tutorial

Ok i 1st tried this with a feed from vimeo

with no luck...

then i just just copied and pasted an exact example from the tutorial

1.)uploaded it in repository/download
2.)then made a folder 4kidstv and extracted the index and descriptor xml pages

ok, so now we have our 'descript.xml' file, its time to put our .zip file together

not sure if typo but i saved as descriptor.

when i added the repository, i found it and it shows up his listings.

I added my repository into boxee and it finds the app and thumbnail, but when i clip on it... it does nothing

so im very confused, i thought i did something wrong somewhere when i made my own but then i just copy and pasted the tutorial and still nothing.

did i do something wrong?

The last line of any repository xml file needs to be an empty returned line. Basically go to the last line of your xml files and hit the enter key and then save.

I will go and do that...

is that every xml or only the repository xml? i did it to that one but its still not doing anything, so i guess will go and do to the rest..

is the files in the zip file in the download folder the ones that boxee looks for? and so i shouldn't be so concerned with the 4kidstv directory?

I want to learn this but i dont know much about python but trying to give it a whirl!
