Thread: Using Boxee on secondary (TV) monitor?

Question Using Boxee on secondary (TV) monitor?

Here's my situation. My computer has a 22" 16:10 LCD widescreen monitor in the middle, an 18" 4:3 CRT on the right, and on the left, a 27" standard-definition Sony Trinitron TV set.

This TV is 4:3, but it has a special trick where I can "collapse" its display into 16:9 so it can show anamorphic DVDs in their full resolution. However, my video card still thinks it's 4:3, so for watching widescreen movies I end up using video players such as PowerDVD or Media Player Classic that I can do "stretch to fit screen" or "override resolution to 4:3" on. Then I drag them over to the TV, and voila, "full" resolution.

As far as I've been able to tell, I can't move Boxee from one monitor to the other. Is that right?

Is Boxee going to support being able to do this kind of thing in the future? I'd much rather watch movies on that big TV than the small monitor.

just make the TV your #1 monitor in video settings.
