You mean Trailers? Those have been removed and must be found via YouTube.

unless you add them to your queue then most moves still have a trailer.

could you elaborate on this more please? I assumed when they were gone that it was a bug or needed for the time being for some other reason. However with your answer you just gave it seems that it will be a permanent change.

I do not mean to complain as you guys are doing a wonderful job but I saw the same kind of answers to the ability to fix a incorrectly labeled movie. it seems to me you would save a lot of complaining if you said not only that it was not in this build but why and when it would be back.
    system specs:

    Win 7 64
    AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (2.0 GHz)
    2 GB Ram
    ATI Radeon 9800 128MB ram

Some functionality does not have a "due date" and cannot be elaborated upon further. Also, many of the same questions come up every week because new users do not search well or at all, so it gets difficult to take the time to answer "in depth" repeatedly. Not complaining, but we have so many things we have to answer and move on.

As for the indexing issues, that has been addressed quite a lot, but it too has no definite date on a complete "fix date." Beta was a complete rewrite over alpha and the IMDB database licensing and server too. The video rendering and OS compatibility issues are getting the main focus right now. Afterward, they will start churning through the other functions/features for fixes.

So, there is a ton for the devs to address. Some will be first, some will be last. Hope that helps.

I guess the main thing I was hopping for was a more definite answer on if the trailers being removed was a a permanent change or a temporary one.

If it is temporary then there is nothing for me to do. If it is permanent then I might want to go post on the http://www.getsatisfaction.com/boxee/ that I would like to see it returned.

Honestly, I've not heard one way or the other. The default on it and a few other removed items is: they will make a comeback at a later build. There's just sooooo much we are all working on.

I'd still do a Get saticfaction post anyway.
