Trouble Updating Movie Library

I recently installed Boxee but can't figure out how to get all my movies to become viewable through the movies app. I am using an external hard drive to store all of my media. I have connected my hard drive movies file by adding source under the local source option. I have rescanned and updated with no luck. My movies are all viewable in the files app but would like them to be available through the movies app for more user friendly sorting options. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Have you named your movie files correctly?

I believe so. I have verified the name on IMBd.com and have included the year for each movie. I am only missing about 10% but think they should all be available. Am I possibly missing something in the set up?

Most likely not. The detection and resolution of video files is a bit buggy at the moment (the nature of being in beta), so a lot of us are missing movies that we shouldn't be. You can report missing or misidentified movies to the Boxee devs here:
