off topic: recommended netbooks?

I was approached by my uncle recently, asking if I had any advice on netbooks. I didn't, since the last time I went laptop hunting the concept of "netbooks" was just faint vision on the horizon. They now seem to be sprouting up anywhere.

For an older guy (50's), who just wants to browse the internet, and write, and maybe play solitaire, anyone out there with a recommendation of a solid Netbook for my uncle?

It seems that tegra2 chips will be prevelent in everything from phones (Zune Phone), to Tablets (the microsoft courier), to netbooks. Perhaps waiting for a tegra 2 netbook would be worth while?

At my local costco they're showing off the hp mini, i believe its the newest version, but if its just for quick uses, i think the older ones would be fine. I was planning on getting that one later this year, since dragging my larger laptop to the library daily was getting a bit annoying (hard to find an outlet low battery life). Thats for Windows xp though or win7 starter, if you definetly need windows, otherwise i would go with the dell mini 9 or 10 with ubuntu for around 200-300 dollars if you don't require windows.
