No Video on MTV / HULU

I just installed Boxee on apple TV. The install went smoothly. However, I can not view any video on the Hulu app or MTV app. I can see CNN and you tube video.

In Hulu, for example, I get a message that the video is loading, and the progress bar shows that the media is playing, but I get neither audio nor video.

Is this a common problem, and is there a common solution. I figured it was a buffering issue, but I let one video run for 10 minutes with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Had the same issue last night (it has worked before, though not very smooth playback) and it worked fine on my mac laptop at the same time through a browser. Did you get the Hulu black "Loading.." screen and then here a "sound" like something was happening for a second and then silence/black screen too?

I assume you installed Boxee Alpha, as the HULU app is integrated into Boxee Beta (Ie: searching for a show or movie will automatically reference all Hulu content).

Hulu on Boxee Alpha is dead. The only way to get Hulu to work is to install Boxee Beta.

This is unofficial, so do this at your peril (it does work though, but Hulu is jittery).
