    Default Sirius-XM support

I love all the features for the music lovers so far. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in this as much as I would, but what about users with a Sirius/XM account to be able to listen to their service through Boxee? They both have an internet login to listen to the service online. Wasn't sure if that would be possible, but that would be a great feature for people that have the satellite service. I use the online service everyday. Just being able to stream the satellite service through Boxee on your TV through your stereo would be great.

Not sure if it's possible, but wishful thinking.

i run boxee 0.9.20 on: ubuntu 9.10, windows xp sp3 (virtual machine), windows 7 and a neuros link hacked to all hell.

what super powers does a 'super mod' have? the 'super ban'... that, and laser vision.

from what I remember (been awhile since I've subscribed) the online player was pretty basic, mostly just java and a windows media player stream (I know it's been implemented in a google gadget and an OS X widget so those might be good starting points)

    Default XM Player requirements

Yeah, it uses windows media player and java. It does say flash 7 for requirements, but that seems pretty dated. I just don't see where the flash is used. When viewing the source of the player, I don't see the flash anywhere, unless I'm over looking it.

    Default Sirius

I play Sirius on my iMac using StarPlayr2. I'm pretty sure that it's open source.

Not sure how/whether all XBMC scripts work with Boxee (and especially with Boxee on AppleTV), but there used to be a great Sirius script for XBMC. It was not maintained and ultimately faded away. Recently, someone took a stab at updating the script with mixed results. You might want to take a look at it to see if it can be modified to work with Boxee (see link below). Sirius would be a great addition to your lineup.

If you happen to have a 24/7 PC server you can use a program called uSirius/uXM which takes the official Sirius or XM streams and turns them into easy to digest Internet Radio stations that you can easily add to Boxee.

Dont know if this helps but there is a firefox addon that you can run to get the sirius radio stream
It would still be nice to see it in Boxee!

    Default Request - XM Radio

One thing I'd love to see added is support for XM Radio's web streams through Boxee's interface.
