Default Windows Screensaver = Boxee Crash?

Has anyone else hear about this? After a few minutes letting my PC idle Boxee will come up with the windows error message saying it cannot run. When I try to launch it again, I get the error. If I reboot, I get the error. The only way I can fix it is a complete clean install of boxee.

I will tinker with it more tonight to see if I can fix it. First, I'll turn off the screensaver.

My PC Specs:
Win Vista
ATI X1800
3gb Ram
AMD 4200+ X2
ECS RX 480A Motherboard

I am also running the latest version.

Update:

Well I performed a clean install, while watching Nova tonight and using the controls about a minute before Boxee crashed, and It kept failing to open. I tried rebooting, nothing worked.

While looking in my profile folder I removed my profile (cut and copied it elsewhere)

Now Boxee won't crash on startup, but nothing plays or appears while searching for it.

What should I do next?

Can you clarify a little? I'm not sure I understand what exactly you did. Also, it might help if you enable advanced logging in Boxee and post the log here. To enable logging:

I went to the users/localapps/roaming... and to my Profile folder in Boxee.

When I removed it from its place I was able to get Boxee running again. But no content was loading. When I moved my profile folder back to its spot. Boxee crashed again.

I was in the process of getting an advanced log, but I had to go back to work. I will post one tomorrow morning.

If that's the actual path you followed, it would seem you removed the wrong thing. Your Boxee profile should be found in:
C:\Users\[username]\appdata\Roaming\BOXEE\userdata

For now, I guess we'll wait to see what the logs say.

Update

I think I fixed or at least solved the problem.

It has nothing to do with the screensaver. I realized this when it I installed it on my win 7 partition. The issue lies in the sources.xml file

I removed all of the custom entries so its blank and now I haven't had any issues. (For at least 3 days) I don't really understand where the "special//music" folder is and was.

Maybe the issue was the program was trying to sync across to another HD?

Not sure, the log is still relevant. I haven't heard anything yet from Boxee, but here is an update for y'all.
