Reduce Timeout For No Internet Connection

Is there a way to reduce the amount of time it takes Boxee to time out when not connected to the internet? I had my ISP die for a few hours today and noticed it took a while before it asked me to login offline.

how do you mean? at the login screen it will check if no connection while trying to login, so that should be instanteous. we currently don't really try to detect if you are connected to the internet after you're logged in, and we'll even show cached info in the homescreen while you're disconnected, so the experiance is not broken.
