Default Bittorent file only available in download screen

I added a torrent to Boxee via the web page, and it successfully downloaded it, but there is nothing shown at all in "Videos > sources > Boxee downloads". Going back to the download screen (which is "stuck", but that has been reported) I can play the video (.avi) by hitting select, which brings up the right side sliding menu. I can select from the right side screen, which has a "pause" icon instead of a play icon and the word "play". The video plays normally, in the "now playing" section, but still never shows up in sources, video or in recent.

Do you know the file format? Is it a Zip, RAR or uncompressed (AVI/Divx native video format?)

You can telnet frontrow@appletv.localhost (p/w frontrow) and CD into the /Downloads/Boxee/mediafile directory to see it...

I'm actually running Linux (mythbuntu 8.04) not ATV. The file is an uncompressed xvid avi. Looking in the home/.boxee directory, I found the file in the .boxee/torrent/.tmp folder, apparently complete. So I started Boxee again, thinking perhaps it doesn't move the file until some seeding threshold and went back to the download section. I used the remote to try and toggle "resume" in the top menu, then exited. Now, boxee won't start

I might have to stop for the night, and see if there is any advice on what else to check tomorrow. (and some advice on how to get boxee to start again) Otherwise, I am having a blast, and want to help make this an even better project.

    hi wyopistachio

this seems like a bug ? are you using 3970 version?
move the file from the .tmp to .boxee/downloads and then select Videos > sources > Boxee downloads ...it should be displayed.

    thanks for the report

Moving the file did make it show up in downloads. I still couldn't get Boxee to start from the menu, and running run-boxee-desktop returned "boxee is already running". Running boxee from Thundar worked to get it started, but the menu still didn't work. I finally re-installed from Synaptic to get the menu running.
