Flickr Slideshow

Not sure if this is the place to ask for this, but it'd be great if the Flickr app let me display a stream, group, or set as slideshow. (Or maybe it's there and I haven't discovered it yet?)

yea i just signed up and did a test and while I see my pics, the thumbnails dont go away and theres no slideshow, so flickr on boxee, worthless

but atleast you can see pics even if they are marked private, unlike picasa.

none of the pictures sites work right on boxee, , hopefully in time it will be looked into but I am sure the team has more important issues than picasa and flickr, lol,

I would not say it's worthless just because there's no slide show option ...yet.

My picasa and flickr apps work nicely. Aside from not being able to Log In to your account. Which has already been suggested in http://getsatisfaction.com/boxee/

What issues are you having exactly? We need to know what they are.

well i guess i mean "worthless for me" if the slideshow doesn't work for flickr and if you can't see private pics on picasa then to "for me" both are not an ideal set up. I am debating on which service to use and hopefully one works fully with boxee soon and that will be the one I choose. I like slideshows, and always have my pics set to private. Also I hope picasa videos will work in the future as well however theres youtube but that seems to be not working as well as I cant seem to log in as it doesnt ask for password or show my videos.

Yeah, "worthless" is a bit harsh -- but a slideshow would be a great addition.

You know, I"ve never really cared for slideshow for some reason. I've always been a user that likes to open a set and pick which ones I want to view. Which works for me as Flickr puts all the group pics on the very bottom of the screen. Then I click the ones I want to view. Just thought I'd share that.

I'm a Picasa freak! I luv it over anything else I've used, plus I have the PC program on my machines. Just fantastic and intuitive layout and usage. Hell, even got my 60+ yr old mother set up as a power user now. Once they enable loging in, that will be the 'cat's meow."

It works right now on my ATV. Exce[t for 2 things:

1. Photos are shown in reverse order (Newest first, not chronological)
2. It only shows the last 20.
