Great backgrounds for Boxee/New Boxee Bokeh group in Flickr

I'm gonna pull dumb dumb as I've not bothered to tinker with this yet.

But you have different pics on Boxee shown. Does it use only one pic for all screens or can you set specific ones for different areas of boxee? Say one pic for My TV shows and one for the Home Screen?

Depends, I have a folder full of HD 1080p wallpaper that I pointed Boxee to that cycles through them all. Each menu gets a different wallpaper at random.

I gotta say, my favorite background is if you select 'change background' and then exit out, it will set it as 'blank' (probably a bug)

Kinda cool though, cuz if you have video playing and you exit to the menu, you can still see your video behind the icons etc.

Ok, IC now. You can set the folder then if you want there's a reset to get the default rotating Boxee back grounds. Thanks.

Now I just have to find some pics that work well.

Oh, and if you leave boxee sit at a screen, it auto cycles to the next background pic every 10 seconds or so.

I set one of those bokeh pictures as background and it looks great but for some reason when I play a video and go back to the previous screen (tv show library for example) the video show as background instead of the bokeh picture.
Anyone else having this problem? It's a jpeg file, single picture, 1280x720, using the latest version of boxee on ubuntu karmic.

Yup, I get the same thing. Only happens while a video is still playing and you hit the esc or back button. Hmm, damn another new bug...LOL .

I thought it was a feature as well: I always change the default boxee images so I do have to completely stop a video in order to be able to read the screen sometimes
