Default What are some Hulu streamed TV shows that work for you in Linux?

Howdy, i have Boxee Beta 0.9.20.10263 for Ubuntu 32bit Linux 9.10 Karmic Koala (running on Acer Aspire Revo R3610 setup with XBMC 9.11 Live based HDD installation), and i cannot get any Hulu streamed TV shows to play video.

    The video is blank.

Some of my video playing experiences are as follows,

    a) Other TV shows, eg. all CBS TV shows including Star Trek and Twilight Zone
    b) Other online contents, eg. Revision 3 video plays fine.
    c) But other online contents, eg. YouTube videos, MTV video, WIRED videos do not play
    d) Local video play just fine
    e) Streamed local video plays just fine

Will playing Hulu streamed TV shows be problem until Flash 10 is available on Linux?

    Thanks much!

all the same issues for me: Boxee Beta 0.9.20.10263 for Ubuntu 32bit Linux 9.10 Karmic Koala. earlier versions of the beta had problems, but seemed to work better.

no streaming video works for me. everything gets a blank screen. many of the apps don't even start (and a few crash boxee).

DVD won't play (can't even get to the disk menu).

however, all local and networked video works fine.

I just turned on advanced logging, so maybe I'll have more specifics to report soon.

If flash if your problem, you might try following steps that newcolour posted:
    http://forum.boxee.tv/showpost.php?p=68860&postcount=7

For me, everytime I would try to run Hulu, I saw a quick flash of the following error message before the entire screen went blank:

I tried to install the lastest version of flash, and while that helped Firefox, it did not fix Boxee. I looked at newcolour's instructions, but I did not have the files in the same location.
I just did the following and Hulu video now shows properly:
    Code:
    sudo ln -s /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so /opt/boxee/system/players/flashplayer/xulrunner-i486-linux/bin/plugins/libflashplayer.so
I tried just copying it, but for whatever reason, I kept getting that same Hulu-Adobe error message every time I would restart Boxee.

Hope that helps. And hopefully for me, it will continue to work.

I have no issues with Hulu on 9.10 and the latest Boxee. It's the other networks delivered via Movie Networks.

I would doubt ever seeing anything that's fed via Movie Networks.... M$ is an investor.

Aren't those Flash based as well?

Maybe my problem is specific to Flash 10, dunno.

I need to get debug logs.
