Ubuntu 9.10 amd64 boxee beta video issue

Probably the easy way out, but I've built the box over months of blood, sweat and tears. Would perfer another option before this suggested last resort. Hopefully something will turn up soon, like an AMD 64 bit version of Flash 10.1.

Flash 10.1 Beta is a huge stumbling block. Doesn't exist for AMD 64 architecture. Googled for instructions on how to proceed, led me to a link to install the Firefox plugin (Shockwave Flash 10.1.xx), however the instructions above require a native install without the Firefox plugin. Not sure how to proceed with this, other than to just sit back and wait for the official 64 release of Flash.

Not sure if you've already solved you Boxee color issue, if you did I'd like to hear about it since I'm having the same issue, our hardware config is similar.

About 64-bit Flash, I came across an Adobe Flash Player "Square" Preview Release for 64-bit systems. Here's a link to the download and install instructions. http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flas...10_square.html

Haven't got the time to try this yet though but I'm hoping this should fix my color issues.
