iphone remote
native remote control app for the iphone.
remember last position
resume a video form where it left off, last time it was stopped.
parental controls
because they'll find out when they are old enough to know.
itunes integration
better support for native reading of the itunse music database.
(note: this has nothing to do with the itunes store, or support for playback of drm'd content.)
ui for indexing status
a screen for management of various indexing tasks. located at: settings > indexing.
new show notification
new items show up in 'recently added'.
playlists
support for playlists of audio and video.
shuffle
option to shuffle music.
queue/favorite/bookmarks
all the same basic premise... auto-downaload could also be lumped in here.
hulu account integration
support hulu account credentials. this will add support for show queues, custom show lists, and new show notification.
pandora
add support for streaming music from pandora. (flash based)
mtvmusic.com
add mtv's new streaming music video site (flash based)
read metadata
have boxee read the metadata embedded in audio/video files. (note: boxee already supports id3, to an extent.)
automatic login
option to auto-login the default user, and/or if there is only one user.
search
option/screen to search your indexed media.
xbox support
boxee running on the original xbox.
ps3 support
boxee running on the ps3. (note: xbmc/boxee would need to be ported to powerpc (ppc) first.)
file deletion
option to delete a file from within the boxee ui. here is the official word from team-boxee:

watched flags
mark media as having been watched.
bbc iplayer
native support for the bbc's iplayer. (uk only)
default to 'more info' screen
when selecting media, boxee should show the 'more info' screen as it has the option to play.
this prevents the user from clicking twice. (plus it would just look nicer.)
clear history
option in boxee that delete all of your 'recently used' history.
(similar to browser history deletion.)
ignore prefixes when sorting
when sorting media, boxee should ignore: 'the', 'an', 'a', etc.
ctv.ca
add support for streaming contend from ctv.ca (canada)
dvr functionality (tivo)
boxee should perform the tasks of a dvr, including tuner card support.
a la: windows media center, mythtv, eyetv, tivo.
instantly pause (apple remote)
currently when pressing pause on the apple remote, boxee
opens the playback options. this requires users that 'press pause twice' to actually pause.
the proposal is that boxee would pause on the initial keypress, while still opening the playback menu.
skype
enhance boxee's social features with the integration of skype voip software.
netflix
this request is a combination of both support for netfilx queue manipulation
and playback of netflix movies via the netflix webplayer. (a la: hulu.)
note: this feature was added to the mac version of boxee in version: 0.9.5
