    Default Boxee Beta 0.9.20.10261 for Ubuntu 64bit Linux 9.10 Karmic Koa doesn't install

    I tried to install the linux beta version using Gdebi package installer but got an error at the start of the install:

    /tmp/boxee-0.9.20.10261.x86_64-2.deb could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.
    Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit

    Try saving it to your desktop then opening it.

    i run boxee 0.9.20 on: ubuntu 9.10, windows xp sp3 (virtual machine), windows 7 and a neuros link hacked to all hell.

    what super powers does a 'super mod' have? the 'super ban'... that, and laser vision.

    I did save it then double clicked it and it installed.
