Default So far, it is great

The Beta finally made it to my living room yesterday.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Hulu works out of the box (is that a secret?)
I'm very excited about it, even my wife was happy.
The one issue that you are very well aware of is the lookup of movies/tv files.
You sent us all to a rename frenzy to get all our media files recognized.
I submitted all the problematic files to your report form.

Other than that, very enjoyable and very polished.

    PS
Kudos to the wonderful industrial design of the Boxee box.

I'm digging the look and feel, and once it's on my ATV I'm certain it will pass the "significant other test". Being that I'm testing it on my Mac I'm not really able to put it through its paces in a, for me, real world test, but it'll be interesting to see how it behaves. All in all it's a large step forward, and I'm thinking we're all in for a real treat once all the kinks are ironed out.

I already mentioned this in another post, but it seems that this is the best place to put my thoughts.
The 2 things that I see that could be addressed (in addition to getting the ability fix incorrectly identified movies) are:
    1. No more ability to watch the trailer for movies.
    2. If a description is too long, it is truncated and there is no way to read the entire description.

With that said, the beta is WONDERFUL!

I agree with Kristallin - my wife will find this much easier to navigate. And with the new GPU capabilities, my Asrock will be a great investment. Thanks!

I'm in love with it. The design to me makes it feel way different than the previous format was. I can't wait to experience it upon my large tv.

Love how the new skin looks on my TV, and how it runs smoothly on my Dell Zino. Just need that Boxee Remote and it'll be all good.

Netflix runs on Silverlight, so it's a no-go on Linux or AppleTV.
