    Same here!!
Quantum of Solace, Ghost Town and The Incredible Hulk are marked as Kung Fu Panda but The Dark Knight is correctly recognized

I am glad I am not the only one with the problem, but do any of you know where the "wrong movie" button is so that I can fix it?

I'm writing a script to automatically organise episodes of The Daily Show. The schema is making sense so far except for strBoxeeId and video_files using that as a foreign key instead of idSeries.

Where does strBoxeeId get created? It's not even an autoincrement int!

Should I just select the highest existing strBoxeeId from series and then add 1 or what?

I'm also getting some odd recognitions.

"Quantum of Solace (2008).avi" is recognized as "Kung Fu Panda."

"Batman Forever (1995).avi" is recognized as some film called "Friday."

Anyone know how to manually change the entries? Thanks.

    Default YAMMM MCM TVRename

If looking for some automation of you renaming process. You might want to try

YAMMM or Media Center Master for movies (pulls info from imdb for renaming but be careful with yammm beacause it it automatic an the only way to correct incorrect naming is by viewing the log ) and

TVRename for TV although it pulls info from thetvdb by default it will help with process immensely
TVRename and YAMMM are your dearest friends for Boxee media recognition

If you can mount the drive from your computer, you can access the database.

And no, the latest beta doesn't seem to have any manual feature to fix broken data, which only confuses most of us that look for help in the forum.

For added failure, there's no documented simple way for most of us to test the scraping routine: So I know that in the latest version, Star.Wars.(1977).m4v doesn't get the right data, but testing different formats to see if they work is very slow, and we can't even attempt to debug the scraping routine. It'd be real nice if someone could just point me to the python function that deals with this so that I can see why it breaks, instead of just submittin a form and hoping for a release that will fix it.

Ok, so this seems to make sense to me, I'm editing the boxee_catalog.db and correcting things, added the right info for U-571. Now, when I update to the next version of Boxee, will this file be compatible with it? Can I copy this out before I have to uninstall my previous profile data and then back in after I re-install, or will it cause problems?

If they don't make any changes to the database structure, you can copy the db out and then back in. If they do, you will most likely have to use the sqlite3 command line tool to export the data first and then import into the appropriate fields.
