I wrote up a list of bugs and my experiences with boxee so far.. i've had this for a week now but haven't had time to properly debug of figure out some stuff... so some of the points may be redundant.

BUG #1
UI doesn't update after going into Download
To reproduce, go into downloads and then press left, navigate to Video > Movies & nothing happens. You need to press "menu" again on the remote before the main window updates from "Downloads"

BUG #2
Media should be counted as played or reported on activities as played until it has been watched halfway or something

BUG #3
Fast forwarding doesn't work properly.. while holding the fast-forward button on the remote, it fastforwards for a while and then just stalls after a while... releasing the button doesn't help at this point. It sometimes begins to play from that time but most times i have to just stop the video

SUGGESTION #1
I think the remote helper should be disabled on default because it may be strange for a new user unaware of the option and wandering why the remote doesn't work anymore

I really do like the skin but wish that all the advanced options were retained in boxee (even if they are hidden). I am referring to all the advanced configurations available in plex.

Auto switching audio between analog and digital depending on the media and output. The setting should always be set depending on the output source. I've used my laptop primarily for boxee and leaving it on digital (while playing an AC3) causes noise on my laptop speakers after disconnecting the optical.

Better handling of remote control events, especially when playing videos. For one, once you start playing a movie you can't go back to the list of movies... you have to navigate through the menus again. Also, in my opinion, the play button isin't intuitively the video menu button. Holding buttons like the play and menu should also count as another event.

Operating system option to open torrent files with boxee

A method to close the boxee window and use less resources while still updating metadata and downloading torrents
