The apps great! I'm glad to finally have a place where all my NBC videos are collected.

Regarding the FForward error: The problem occurred on my OSX10.6.2 with build r10063.

I reported the problem here on JIRA.

I was able to reproduce the problem this morning, but I'm not confident that it's a problem of Boxee per se, but the video format....

Nevertheless, it's not your problem. Thanks for the app!!

Well, I know the format is supported, but the FF function may be an issue with the version of Boxee on that OS.

I've added both the judgeschambers and fuzzthed repositories, and this app doesn't appear in the library even though many others (including the clicker app) do.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. What gives? Has it been deprecated now that the video "my feeds" app seems to be working again?

    TIA

Oh, I guess I should mention that I'm using the beta version of Boxee.

You only need to add one of the repos. Either mine....or Fuzz's. Both my apps are listed in either one. Fuzz's is the one I would choose as it has a lot of cool apps in it along with mine.

After you add the repos and you should see the names The Judges's Repo or Boxoee Repo, just click on one of them and you will see all the new apps there. To add any of those apps to My APPs (where you saw clicker at), click the app and it will ask you to start the app or add it to My Apps. Select add to My Apps.

Now back out and go to My Apps and any new app you added from the repo's will be there now. Think of the repos as a storage shed of new apps. You have to add them to My Apps before they will show up there.

Should work in the beta version as the minimum he has set for this app is 0.9.7 and beta's are now at 0.9.20.

Double check this to add NBC News/Video Podcasts:
    1. Start up Boxee and go to APPS.

    2. On the left menu go to REPOSITORIES under the EXTRAS heading.

    3. On the left menu go to ADD REPOSITORY under EXTRAS.

    4. Type in "http://dir.fuzzthed.com" without the quotes and hit Done.

    5. Under My Repositories on the current screen click on Boxee Repo.

    6. Scroll down to NBC NEWS VIDEO PODCASTS and click on it and then on ADD TO MY APPS.

    7. The app should now be available via the main MY APPS listing under the left menu's SHOW ME section.

...or do what Paul says above this post. He beat me to it, lol.

Aaaaaah, I just didn't realize that you had to click on the actual names of the repositories in the beta to browse the custom apps contained in them. I thought the new apps just automatically appeared in the apps library once the repo was added, like in the alpha.

My fault. I see it now. Thanks.

    Already been done...

Did you contact NBC yet? I've been trying to contact their multimedia department to try and give them some say in design and try to score high bandwidth feeds, and possibly more program feeds. Curious if you contacted them. Their should be a project list so that work does not overlap. Maybe I'll make one if one doesn't exist.

Yeah did not know you made a similar app. Looks like we both were working on them over the holiday week. ;-) I'm a newbie repo maker, so I'm slooow.

Then when I looked your app on the in December, I did not see the same shows as mine. So, I thought, cool. And I don't think there were any graphics yet. Now I see the same shows.....I must of overlooked them or something. Oh well. Two are twice as good. You've headed in the direction I was looking at going with regard to the graphic set up. I like it.

No, I did not contact NBC. Their likely to scream about doing it in the first place and pull a Hulu.
