    Default Boxee's plugin security?

I wasn't sure where to look in the docs but what kind of security is provided in boxee from malicious plugins?

Is the python provided inside boxee some subset without access to system wide file I/O and other system calls so that some random plugin can't write over any files it wants?

    Default

As long as you don't add any repositories from other publishers you won't have a problem. I am sure that the ones provided by Boxee are all checked to be safe.
But some of the things that can be done with third party plugins is very interesting, ie dvd ripping.
