So the early beta release, I noticed that Boxee would not hold onto the DVD disc when attempting to eject a disc from the Finder. Now with the latest Beta release, this problem is back where you hit eject and nothing happens. I am forced to quit Boxee to get DVD's out of the computer.
Also, I have noticed that when sucking in a DVD under Handbrake, if I turn Boxee on while this is going, all hell breaks loose. The DVD starts to go into a tail spin of heavy spinning inside the computer as Boxee is trying to get info and Handbrake is trying to do it's thing. It comes down to FORCE QUIT Boxee to get it to stop. With previous Alpha and Beta releases, it would only last a couple seconds of hard spinning and then Boxee would quit reading and let Handbrake continue the encoding.
Overall, can we get a settings panel option to tell Boxee to ignore DVD player when DVD's are inserted? Apple does this with their Preferences panel, how about Boxee install such an option to get rid of the problem all together? I never use Boxee to play a DVD's direct from the disc itself. I only let Boxee use the sucked in handbrake versions.
