Boxee quits immediately upon launch (OSX Snowleopard)

Hi all, I am excited to try out the new layout, but after the installation Boxee immediately quits upon launch. I don't even see its window appear on screen.

I am using a Mac mini, 1.66 GHz, running 10.6.2 Snow Leopard. I tested this with a regular as well as an admin user.

The console is capturing the following error message. Does anybody know error code 255, or what the Boxee/tools/osx/preflight file is supposed to do? Any pointers are welcome.

send us your crashreporter logs..under ~/Library/Log/Crashreporter

I have the exact same error. There is nothing in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter. It isn't an empty log. There are no files there.

Same situation here. There is no crashreport for Boxee. Curious enough, launching Boxee today worked fine, even though I am confident that I didn't change anything at all. I'll post the crashlog, should the problem return.
