Default Adding feeds to Boxee Beta

Am I missing something, or is there no way to add a feed to Boxee in the Beta version? In the Alpha you could go to App Box > My Feeds and add a feed there, and the feed would appear like an app in Boxee. The only way to do this now seems to be to add the feed on the website, which means you need to run the "My Feeds" app to be able to view it.

You can add them from your profile:
    http://boxee.tv/user/feeds
personal: boxee | twitter | boxee hq
boxee: boxee chat | boxee wiki | boxee plugins

i run boxee 0.9.20 on: ubuntu 9.10, windows xp sp3 (virtual machine), windows 7 and a neuros link hacked to all hell.

what super powers does a 'super mod' have? the 'super ban'... that, and laser vision.

You can add them through Boxee by going into Settings > Media > Manually Add Source, then re-start Boxee.

I knew you could do that, but I liked the way that in the Alpha you could add the feed within Boxee and have it appear like a separate application instead of having them all grouped under the My Feeds application.

I've tried that with two different RSS feeds, but nothing appears in Apps after restarting Boxee.

Are you looking in the correct "My Feeds" app? There are two different ones (My Feeds music and My Feeds video). I just double-checked the process and it worked perfectly for adding a video feed.

    Default My Feeds App Missing

I can't even seem to find the My Feeds app. Is it missing for anyone else?

In alpha and beta, there should be two "My Feeds" apps, one for video, one for audio... You should be able to find them in you app library.

both are missing for me as well. just upgraded to the newest beta release 10063. I did have them before the upgrade.

I just did a complete uninstall then reinstalled but both are still missing. I'm running windows vista ultimate 32 bit on my machine with security disabled.

It's not just you. I'm pretty sure the app got pulled by the developers for some work. Keep checking back, it's bound to show up again. A bunch of apps have been disappearing and reappearing as of late. Just part of the beta process.

I have no problem with that. My only concern is that while we are "testing" the beta we are supposed to alert the developers of potential bugs and if we don't know if it's an issue or not then we can't help.

That's not a complaint as much as a concern. I love the boxee program and just want to be helpful.
