Hulu has been blocked from the boxee browser to accessing the Hulu site. This is a disappointing development since and our browser, while optimized for a great 10 ft video experience, is no different in how it accesses this content than Internet Explorer, Firefox, Flock, Opera or any of the other browsers out there.

If Boxee browser acted like a real web browser you could get to sites and watch things like espn3.com etc.

They should kill off the boxee browser since you really can't go to any site with it.

The browser does work for a lot of sites, just not all; but it's how web content is going to get displayed on Boxee from here on out so they developers will be improving it as time goes on, not killing it off.

(I used it on CBS and ABC sites just last night, for example.)

I can get to espn 3 site but all it does is highlight the login box with a red square if it was a normal browser I should be able to click on it with my mouse and sign in.

Yes, logging in is currently broken but I believe it is fixed in the next update.

That could be a very longtime I don't see them upgrading soon. Hell we should have a Hulu Plus app by now they said by end of the year Netflix and Hulu Plus.

I now have doubts Hulu Plus is ever coming.

We've had two firmware updates since 10 November, the next one is very close actually (view this page for a list of items already fixed for the next release: http://jira.boxee.tv/secure/IssueNav...equestId=10268).

Boxee never said when Hulu+ would be available, only that they are working on it.
