[beta] Make new episodes auto appear in queue

I haven't gotten a new episode of The Daily Show, or anything for that matter, in my queue since August 18th. In fact, my queue shows up with nothing in it at all (not even the episodes I've watched).

Aside from this issue (I needs mah Daily Show), it would be nice if episodes took themselves out of the queue after watching. This has probably already been mentioned.

Any ideas?

I don't have The Daily Show set up to be added to my queue but several other shows are and they're all showing up fine... I'll try adding The Daily Show and see what happens.

And yes, your request regarding queue removal after watching is listed in JIRA (the bug tracker).

I just recently installed Boxee on 2 Win 7 machines. I am having issues with auto-queueing as well. I added several shows to My Shows (I am using internet streaming only for TV shows.) So far, both Covert Affairs and Leverage have added new shows, but neither showed up in my queue. These are the only new shows from My Shows to pop, so I don't even know if auto-queue is working at all for me. Ican manually work the queue, though.

I am using the newest Boxee build (0.9.22.13692) and have never run Boxee before. Is there something I need to setup beyond adding shows to My Shows (queue new episodes)?

Maybe the problem lies with the shows themselves, possibly not allowing the new eps to be indexed - or if the new eps are very recent, maybe they just haven't shown up in your Queue yet

I added these shows on Sept. 12th and after checking my queue today, there are 2 shows in my queue for 'Covert Affairs' from the 14th. No new shows from 'Leverage' because there has been no new airings yet. TNT website says it will return in December. Looks like it is working for me.

Interesting, only one of the two episodes from Covert Affairs showed up in my queue today -- but both episodes show up in the My TV Shows section.

Also, I haven't seen any new entries in my Feed in a few days now -- hard to believe that no one in my follow list has shared anything for the last two or three days...

From my research, people are randomly seeing this happen as far back as 2008, but there has never been a definitive answer to the problem here in the forums, the threads all die out before there is any resolution.

On-topic: got the same issue... series showing up in My TV Shows, but not in my queue. Have been running Boxee Beta (Win7) for a good 6 hours now, to see if it fits me better than MediaPortal. And since I'm watching (downloaded) series the most, it appears it doesn't really, although 720p rendering seems to work better here than with MediaPortal for some obscure reason...

I'm kinda new, and of what I've been reading, I understand v1.0 is out, but only for the Boxee Box? Has this issue been addressed in that version and if so, when can I as a HTPC user rejoice?
