Boxee no startee

I've run Boxee on a couple Windows XP machines and one Crunchbang Linux PC with no problems. Now I'm trying to run it on a fresh install of XP SP3. Everytime I start the app, nothing seems to happen. No app in the Task List, no errors in the event logs... nothing.

Some other threads have referenced renaming the userdata folder. That hasn't helped.

I'd like to check the log files, but I can't find them. Can anyone help?

Log files should be in userdata folder

Yeah, that's where I expected them to be. There's just sources.xml.in.xp.win and sources.xml.in.diff.xp.win there.

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help. Neither did redownloading, uninstalling, and reinstalling.
