how to play mov files on AppleTV

Hello,

I have installed perian in appleTV (after enabling ssh by atv-usbcreator)
Still mov files are not played. I am able to play them on my leopard easily (perian installed here too )

I got perian files from http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=724

what am i doing wrong? is there wrong permissions set? do i need to make perian wheel group?

I am still waiting for my Boxee login ,anyone has invite please give

I am Updating Boxee on my appletv , ( alpha .3964 ) its taking forever to download and once done shows checksum error .

well, i started to find ALL components on my leopard and scp them to /Library/Quicktime/ , it failed

i even moved Divx Component (perian already is there) , still failed

now removed everything. can someone paste contents of /Library/Quicktime on their AppleTV who can play .mov or .avi (divx/xvid) files ? please help.

(BTW , Boxee installed now, but still waiting for someone to throw a invite at my end

)
