It this Possible?

I am an extreme noob when it comes to Boxee development, although the development seems rather straight forward.

My question is this:

Is it possible with Boxee to build a playlist of local h264 encoded videos and loop that playlist over and over. And while the playlist is playing, have an rss feed of weather being overlaid at the bottom of the screen?

Any help or direction on how to accomplish this would be extremely helpful.

I do not know if it is possible to build a playlist in boxee and have that playlist loop with this alpha version of boxee. Someone else with more Boxee experience will have to answer that.

But your thought of having an RSS feed at the botttom could be implemented with a boxee skin.

You could do both, just not at the same time. When you play media it loads in its own window with nothing else.

What you are trying to do is use boxee for digital signage, might want to look at something else for that. I am actually building an open platform for just that right now.
