Mine seems to work pretty well frame rate wise. Might be different video cards between us. I know that 10.1 only supports hardware acceleration on certain video cards.

    Default Problems with Flash 10.1

    Nice write up, DPK! Thanks.

Remember, guys. This Flash 10.1 with GPU acceleration and off loading works only on video cards that offer that functionality. If your vid card does not offer that, they the only fix is a new card that does or a faster CPU to handle the video processing. These are the only two ways to get rid of choppy video.

    Problems after updating:
FF & IE confirmed updated to 10.1
    Boxee updated to 10.1

Sevearly pixelated with blue dots. Unwatchable now.
My Unsupported Video Card --Gforce FX 5200 card
    FF & IE
    Hulu Desktop
    Boxee

Gonna have to remove Flash 10.1 and resort back to the old version on my XP machine.

Hopefully it works like it's supposed to on my Revo 3610

I'm using the ION chip on an acer aspire revo 1600 but it won't process through boxee. Probably something I've done though, I'll mess around with it,uninstall and try again. Thanks for the guides

    Videomilk,

I don't believe that Boxee supports GPU off loading and acceleration, so this upgrade will not help on the Atom Ion. But it will help with Hulu with a browser or Hulu Desktop!

Well, I knew my old ass vid card did not support GPU offloading and acceleration, but I upgraded anyway with the previously posted results. (GForce FX5200)

I updated my vid drivers and rebooted too. But no go. I'll have to uninstall 10.1 on my old XP machine.

But I will Install this update on my Revo 3610 when it arrives Thursday.

I thought the guide that DPK wrote where you replace the flash dll in the boxee plugin folder with the 10.1 version was doing that. Sorry if I got it wrong. Cheers

I understood that Boxee does not offer GPU acceleration. So, if you upgrade boxee to 10.1, it will not enable the GPU to take over the video decoding. I thought that the Boxee Beta may offer this but not the current version.

    DPK, can you confirm this?
