Has anyone using Boxee on Snow Leopard updated to 10.6.2? I'm curious about the issues people have been having with their Apple Remotes controlling things like Front Row while in the Boxee app. Has 10.6.2 fixed this?

I haven't done anything with the remote (I already have the driver someone recommended in another post installed) but I can confirm that it hasn't fixed the graphical problem for us lot using the X3100 chip.
After installing 10.6.2 my Apple remote no longer works with BoxeeRight after the update the remote didn't work with anything. I unpaired then re-paired it with my MBP. Then disabled/re-enabled Candelair. This got it working again in OS X. It still didn't work in Hulu desktop. But there was a update to Hulu desktop a day or two after 10.6.2 and it works with Hulu fine now. Still not working with Boxee.
I noticed there were several others seeing the same Apple remote issues on the Apple discussions forum and Macrumors forum.
I recommend Remote Buddy as the best solution. It adds some nice functionality to the Apple Remote and works very well under Snow Leopard and its 10.6.2 release. I wasn't as lucky with Candelair under 10.6, it seemed very spotty.
Candelair and Remote Buddy are developed by the same developer and share the same IR driver. IO Spirit made Candelair so we could use our remotes again in 10.6.2 without having to pay up for Remote Buddy which does a lot more than what most people need. I don't know why one would work better than the other.
Edit: Okay double checked Remote Buddy and it uses version 1.7.1 while Candelair uses 1.7.2 of the IR driver. Boxee is still only mouse/keyboard controlable now. I guess I'll have to wait till the beta goes public.
Make sure you have the latest version of candelair.
Also, for some reason "Leopard compatibility mode" is not activated as a default. Once I activated, the remote worked perfectly. No issues since 10.6.2 and latest candelair was downloaded.
One caveat, I do not use anything but Boxee- haven't tested with iTunes or Frontrow.
Thanks for the update and especially this little bit of info

This indeed has given me back remote control of Boxee. I guess whatever changes in 10.6.2 made flipping this switch necessary as it wasn't needed on 10.6.1. I've tested it with Hulu and Frontrow as well and both work as well as general OSXAlso, for some reason "Leopard compatibility mode" is not activated as a default. I had the same remote issue until I checked the Leopard compat mode.
Once that was fixed, I noticed that it now has trouble reading files from my external FW 400 and 800 drives as well as those connected by USB 2.0
I did manage to get it to see the drives after restarting the app several times, but then trying to play any kind of media failed.
Anyone have any idea what changed?
