    Working for me....

    Just wondering with the new release candidate, will there be any updates required to the tutorial or does this one still count?
    Am tempted to try and make my own app....

    So I think I got it well sorted out untill I get to the point that I have to add an RSS feed. If I try something like:
    <content type="url" url="rss.cnn.com/rss/edition.rss">
    </content>

    The app runs and starts loading. e.g. the loading bar appears. But then then lasts forever. So what could be wrong?

    I'm very, very new to boxee, and I'm checking your step by step carefully... Already have a TV station broadcasting, now I want to make it available on Boxee. Let's see if I can make it......!

    Last month, jendabom and I took a stab at making a new, more comprehensive guide intended for readers completely new to developing on Boxee. This multi-part series will be running on my Boxee Dev blog detailing every step to take a Boxee-spec RSS feed and create a rich, fully skinned Boxee application.

    The first installment - Designing The Skin - is here. Each step will be published every two days, wrapping up in a couple weeks.

    I welcome the dev community's feedback on this extensive guide and, of course, the input of new Boxee devs on its suitability as a new Boxee resource.
