I realize the holidays are busy.

Mr. Rieger is doing some great work on documentation that will be released soon. Rather than duplicate efforts, I've deferred doing a rundown of the RSS specification to that release.

Aaaa Haaa. Now it makes sense. I was wondering because I should have seen all my installed apps and I was not. Cool. Thanks for the direction. I might get this thing working yet!

But I think that is the file to put it in the shortcut box on the front page. What xml file is used to put apps in My APPs?

There is no file for directly adding apps to the app library anymore as of the beta. The only way you can add an app is to install it via a repository or add it by editing shortcuts.xml. If you add it via shortcuts.xml it will appear only in your shortcuts list.

This was really helpful. I've just made my first Boxee app for a video podcast I help produce!!

Thanks for the feedback folks.

This afternoon I went ahead and edited the guide to reflect the new app handling of the Boxee Beta. Also fixed a couple nagging typos that were hanging up some users.

As always, keep the notes (and the apps!) coming.
