Pre-Made AppleTV PatchStick Updates

What do you all make of these AppleTV PatchStick Updates being sold on eBay - named 'AppleTV Patchstick Software Updates'? These are suppose to be ready-made PatchStick updates with Boxee and XBMC. Has anyone tried a pre-made PatchStick like these? I've been wanting to have Boxee, but I'm a bit hesitant to try and make one of these PatchSticks myself.

You can buy them or the atvFlash is $50. But honestly, the self made patchstick is not that darn difficult.
