    Default HTTP Cache

Is there a cache in boxee or xbmc I can use to speed up repeated requests to the same URL?

If not can someone suggest a good open source cache?
I'd like it to be able to set expiry time and max items.

    Cheers
    Stefan

    Default Squid

If you're feeling adventurous, you could try using a caching web proxy such as Squid (http://www.squid-cache.org/). Boxee has hooks to use HTTP proxies (which squid is). Might be worth a shot.
