Okay, I’ve just done some testing in Snow Leopard.
The Apple Remote is no longer any use in Boxee—as reported above, it still controls Boxee, but it also controls OS X at the same time … so when you try to scroll down through a menu you also turn the system volume down, when you press play you also play the current song in iTunes, and so on.
I no longer seem to be able to view any images from my iPhoto library in Boxee. Local media > Pictures > iPhoto Library just gives me ‘Loading Error: Failed to retrieve data’.
So far, those are the only new bugs I’ve found. I still can’t play physical DVDs in Boxee and Boxee is still automatically adding the wrong files from within Video_TS folders (eg. adding VTS_01_5.VOB instead of VIDEO_TS.IFO) and not letting me delete them from the library afterwards. I’ve had those bugs for months, so they’re not Snow Leopard issues.
Boxee doesn't display correctly on my MacBook running Snow Leopard. It all looks a bit crispy and gradients aren't smooth etc.
Oh thank god I decided to check the forums on this issue. The remote thing was driving me insane.
Can verify the VIDEO_TS / apple remote issues on my end.
is there any quick workaround to make the remote controll only boxee?
