Default boxee sucks since windows rls.

Am I the only one or is every version of boxee (for mac) just full with bugs since the date theres a windows version?

-the audio problems seem to be fixed with the newest update, but now it crashes on mkv's all the time....

-and i know all these new apps are great,
but the most basic stuff just isnt working, for example the "sort by date" option is still not back, and nobody understands why its removed in the first place :/

if you have crashes then please send me your crashreporter logs located at ~/Library/Logs/Crashreporter ..

I may be a little bias but this version (mac) is more stable than previous versions..

Any response to this topic yet?

I am having the same problem. Every time I click on the stop button after watching a movie, Boxee freezes and I have to Force Quit the application.

When I re-start Boxee, my digital audio connection is no longer recognized. So in order to watch another movie, I have to shut down and manually restart my Mac.

Had zero issues with the previous version of Boxee
The latest version is useless to me

Is it possible to install a previous version until they fix the bugs in this current version?

No, by using this software you are basically a tester. We need you to use the latest version in order for for team boxee to be aware of bugs and work on them accordingly.

    It's alpha software.
    Common issues w/ Boxee:
Beta Important Info | FAQ & Support Requests | Hulu Mature Content | Search

    UnBoxeed app development:
    Comics.com | ESPN360 | Weather

You can actually use appzapper to uninstall Boxee and then just reinstall an old version. That's what I do. Everytime there is a new release I try it, but the only version I got to play videos until now is 9.11.5774. I'm actually uninstalling the latest release as we speak because it just doesn't play my video's (my video collection is 90% MKV)

can not find anything specific in your crashreporter ..Does this happen only on MKV or other formats ..are your audio settings set to Digital or analog (can you toggle them and see if this makes a difference)
