Mac Mini: Front Row always launches when hitting menu button in Boxee

I'm new to Boxee, but have been experiencing an issue where hitting the menu button in the app launches Front Row, and using the up or down arrow keys makes the OS X volume change. The commands register in Boxee first, but then do what they normally do in OS X.

I'm actually running the latest Snow Leopard developer seed, so that is probably the issue, but I've never run Boxee on regular Leopard to know if this usually happens or not.

I have the remote options set to:

Always Running
Multi Remote (Harmony)

Also, what is the difference between "Multi Remote (Harmony)", "Universal Remote" and "Standard" ? I'm using an Apple Remote but want to switch to my Harmony One, but all the remote options seem to do the same thing for me.

It's a Snow Leopard issue, Plex has the same issue:

Just updated to 10.6.1, hoping this would resolve the annoying sound up and down button... but no.


However holding the menu button does launch Boxee over Front Row.

However with my habit of hitting the menu button front row does annoyingly take over... grr.

(Also having issues with the menu button and eye tv, however that a whole other forum somewhere)


But why would apple care, its a third party over there beloved first.
